Afghani #1 is an original landrace strain that was brought into the commercial weed market during the 1970s by Sacred Seeds. It is one of the first pure indica strains to of been used to breed hybrid cannabis strains. It has dense buds with extreme amounts of resin. Afghani Kush has been traditionally used to produce hash through the ages although now it is commonly used as a stable parent with strong genetics in the cross-breeding of strains to make hybrids. This autoflowering and feminised variant of Afghani takes on most of the original variant qualities although a female plant is almost certain and the plant will start flowering based on its age and not its light cycle.
Afghani #1 is a landrace strain that originates from Afghanistan. It is a pure indica that has been genetically perfected over 100s of years by natural means and human cultivation. Thought to be brought to the Netherlands during the 70s and the UK shortly after. Afghani has parented a lot of popular strains such as Northern Lights because of this and its strong genetics Afghani is very popular as a building block for cross-breeding strains.
Afghani's buds are very resinous, they have been traditionally used to make some very good hash. The buds are a light green colour with orange hairs and a thick layer of trichomes. It smells skunky with hints of fruit or hash. This smell greatly increases when the buds are cracked open. Due to this strain being a pure indica the user can expect a deep full body high and mental relaxation. Couchlock and munchies are also common outcomes of smoking this strain. Medically this strain has been used to help people with anxiety and PTSD. As well as being good at treating chronic pain and arthritis.
