Train wreck is a sativa dominant strain that is 90% sativa. It is said to get its name from the “trainwreck” high it leaves its user with. Although sativa dominant, Trainwreck displays a lot of its indica effects to, leaving the user with a strong body high and numbing feeling as well as all the usual Sativa effects like cerebral headspace and euphoria. When smoked it can leave its user with a lazy couch lock feeling. While the user is couch locked, the brain continues to be stimulated leaving the user in a dreamy head space.
The buds are a deep green colour with sometimes a hint of purple on the leaf’s. The buds grow a medium size and can be very sticky. The smell from the buds is spicy with hints of fruit. The smell is very strong and hard to hide. The smoke tastes very nice and is like berries or grapes and it leaves the user with a fruity aftertaste. Medically this plant has been useful in the treatment of ADD/ADHD, Anxiety, Dipolar disorder, and Hypersensitivity.
Train wreck grows well both indoors and outdoors. The plant has medium yields of about 500grams per square meter. The flowering period is around 9 weeks. The plants grow quite tall and the buds dense so supports might be needed during the flowering process, although this is not always needed. The THC content is about 15%.
